I was raised in the Mormon church. I was active until the age of 25. I lived in Spokane, Washington for the majority of my childhood, surrounded by a loving and supportive family. I served a mission for the Mormon church from 2018-2019 in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

After a lifetime of trials and miracles, I found myself living in Prescott Valley, Arizona in 2021, where I met my husband, Samuel Dawson. Samuel and his family all live within several miles of each other and they own a three-generation family business called Dawson Knives (www.dawsonknives.com). The Dawson family is a Christian family, who love the Bible and love preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone who will listen.

I had many questions and concerns about the Mormon religion by the time I married Samuel. No one in the Mormon church were able to answer my questions, but the Dawson family seemed to have all of the answers. I soon came to realize that they seemed to have all of the answers to my questions because all of the answers to my questions is in the Bible!

For about two and a half years, I sat on the fence between Mormonism and Christianity, afraid to give up what I grew up knowing. But God showed me that I needed to leave the Mormon church and pursue Him completely without the chains of the Mormon religion.

On January 1st, 2025, I began the process of having my name removed from the Mormon church records. I have never felt freer in my life!
